Aston Villa are in advanced talks with French Ligue 1 outfit, Bordeaux over a loan move for defender Lamine Sane. Mercato365 report today.

The 28-year old is reportedly in advanced talks with Turkish side, Besiktas but the Senegalese international recently told the press that it would be his ‘dream’ to play in the Premier League opening up the potential move to The Villans.

Sane joined Bordeaux in 2009 and has gone on to make 174 appearances for the French side while also scoring on six occasions. He was left out his current side’s most recent game with Bordeaux confirming talks were ongoing.

It is believed the loan could turn into a permanent deal if Remi Garde’s side were to remain in the Premier League.

He made his Senegal debut in 2010 – making 25 appearances. Sane has spent his whole professional career at Bordeaux and has formed a reputation for his versatility in defence and midfield.
