Aston Villa will challenge local rivals West Bromwich Albion as well as Derby County for the signature of Cheikh N’Doye.

Sports Witness report how L’Equipe in France say The Villans are keeping an eye on the Angers midfielder, who has been one of the French outfits shining stars as they sit surprisingly in second place below PSG.

West Bromwich Albion have already put an offer of €10-million in for the 29-year old who only joined Angers in the summer from Creteil.

Angers sporting director, Olivier Pickeu previously told a local French news outlet that N’Doye had ‘no limit’ to his quality and that he envisaged the midfielder joining a top club in the future.

N’Doye is a Senegalese international making two appearances and scoring once since making his debut in 2014. While at Angers he has made 16 appearances, finding the net five times.
