Remi Garde has been honest so far while in charge of Aston Villa and he pulled no punches in his press conference after beating Wycombe Wanderers in the third round of the FA Cup.
Grealish started and looked uninspiring for The Villans and Garde made it clear that the Englishmen did not produce for him.
I haven’t seen what I wanted to see from Jack tonight. It’s not just Jack. I wasn’t happy with way we played in 1st hour
Grealish rose to prominence under Tim Sherwood last season with some impressive showings in Villa’s run to the FA Cup final including his role in dismantling Liverpool in the semi-final.
The former Irish under-21 international has had a tough ride with the press on three occasions where he has been shamed for his off-field antics including most recently being pictured out drinking hours after Villa’s heavy 4-0 defeat to Everton.
The 20-year old has also scored his first senior goal for Villa this campaign in a 3-2 defeat to Leicester as well as declaring he wants to play for England at international level.
