Jack Grealish has hit out on social media against claims made in the Sunday Mirror/People.
The report evolved around Grealish supposedly feeling picked on by Remi Garde in the dressing room at half-time in Villa’s 2-0 victory over Wycombe Wanderers in midweek. It claimed that the Villa youngster felt it wasn’t fair that he was singled out for his display, but the midfielder has moved quickly to rubbish the claims in a Tweet.
Twitter: Completely inaccurate story concerning me in the Sunday Mirror & Sunday People. Inventing things! (@JackGrealish1)
The report claimed that Grealish felt like he was a ‘scapegoat’ for Villa’s poor showing in the first half.
Grealish has had a stop-start life at Villa this season after getting in the tabloids for all the wrong reasons in the summer he scored his first ever senior goal against Leicester City in September.
He was then dropped by Remi Garde in November after he was pictured partying hours after a 4-0 away defeat to Everton.
