Gabriel Agbonlahor has been linked with Turkish side Kayserispor, by Turkish news outlet, SporunDibi in the past 24 hours, but the striker has taken to social media since then to refute the claims to his followers during an exchange in his comments on a photo on Instagram.
The 29-year old clearly felt quite strongly against a move to Turkey in the comments – suggesting that he had more chance of going to the moon than moving to Kayserispor from Remi Garde’s Aston Villa.
Agbonlahor leaving Villa has been something that has been building for a while with the former-England international being linked with numerous clubs throughout the window.
Villa manager, Remi Garde is yet to use Agbonlahor since replacing Tim Sherwood as manager in November. He has currently picked up more bookings in the past four years than goals and has made 315 appearances in an Aston Villa shirt – scoring 73 times.
