Defender considering Villa Park exit
Aston Villa defender, Jores Okore has admitted that he could leave the Premier League in the summer in search of Champions League or top division football.
Okore joined The Villans in 2013 from FC Nordsjælland and has since gone on to be a solid member of Villa’s side despite an injury riddled start to life at Villa Park.
In the interview with Danish journalist, Ekstra Bladet, Okore admitted that he feels ready to move forward with his career and push on.
It’s believed that Villa are yet to offer the Danish international a new contract at Villa Park with the defender’s current deal running out in 2017.
Okore has made 34 appearances so far in a Villa shirt with his most consistent spell of games being under Tim Sherwood and Remi Garde in the past year. He has played 810 minutes of Premier League football this season, as well as making two FA Cup appearances.
