Trabzonspor closing in on Micah Richards
Trabzonspor are closing in on a move for Aston Villa defender Micah Richards on a season long loan.
Turkish Football report that Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta has been in England to strike a deal with Villa over a loan move to the Turkish outfit.
It is said that a move could happen within the next 48 hours for the defender who has struggled for form at Villa Park.
Richards moved to the Midlands side last summer from Manchester City on a free transfer but he failed to show his form of old as captain of the Villans.
He was subject to barrages of abuse from the Villa faithful over his commitment and performance levels as the club was relegated from the Premier League for the first time in a disastrous campaign.
Richards has previously been linked with a move to Sunderland already this summer only for a move not to materialise and also Hull City more recently.
