Aston Villa are interested in Polish starlet Kacper Masnego but could face competition from the likes of Norwich City and Derby County for his signature.
Villa are believed to have shown interest in the 14-year old starlet, whilst Wisla Krakow Academy Director Rafal Wislocki revealed that Liverpool, Hertha Berlin and Schalke have also been monitoring the youngster.
Wislocki believes Masnego, who recently received an international call-up from Poland at youth level, highlights the good work of Krakow’s academy.
“It shows that the boys, who train at the Academy are similar – or even higher – level, in relation to their peers abroad, with English and German clubs,” Wislocki told the Derby Telegraph.

“Besides interest from Liverpool, Derby County or Norwich City we have signs of interest from Hertha Berlin and Schalke.
“Of course, we remember that our main goal is to train players for the first team.”
Krakow will hope they can hold onto Masnego but look set to face a real battle to keep the prized youngster.
The defender impressed at the Four Nations tournament in Myslenice last month and was watched by a number of scouts from English clubs.
