Aston Villa welcome Birmingham City to Villa Park this Sunday for the first time since 2015, when the two sides met in the League Cup.
Steve Bruce will be hoping that he can lead his side to an important victory over his former team, and will be well aware of the excellent opportunity that awaits him against Birmingham.
The Blues have been in quite woeful form recently and this has led to the resignation of manager Gianfranco Zola. His appointment was a shock to the public but his poor reign at St Andrew’s was somewhat expected.
