According to RMC, via Get French Football, Ligue 1 side Marseille are set to make a move for Jordan Amavi imminently.
Twitter: Marseille will submit a loan with option to buy (€7m) offer in the coming hours to Aston Villa for Jordan Amavi https://t.co/QJpycRqHAq (@GFFN)
The report claims that Marseille will submit a loan offer for Amavi, with the option to sign the defender for €7m at the end of the season.
Patrice Evra signed for Marseille earlier this summer, which makes Amavi’s chances of starting at the French club slim.
However, Amavi is seen as a player for the future, given that he is only 23-years-old.
The left-back looks set to leave Villa this summer after two seasons at the club, mainly hampered by injury.
Amavi has featured in 48 games for Villa in his couple of years in England, with only 12 of them coming in his first season – whilst Villa were in the Premier League.
