Aston Villa made it 6 points from their opening 6 games after a disappointing goalless draw against struggling Brentford.

Throughout the match Villa struggled to create any guilt-edge opportunities and they have Johnstone to thank for the draw as he pulled off a number of great saves to ensure that his side at least managed to get a thoroughly undeserved point.

Brentford, who are yet to pick up a win this season, were the better team throughout this match, and no Villa fan could have complained if they picked up all three points. However, unfortunately for them, they came across a keeper who was on top of his game.

Villa are promotion favourites this season, but they will have to start playing a lot better if they are to have any hope of playing in the Premier League next season.
