The player has been at Sunderland for the first part of the season but the deal with the Championship club was cut short and he returned to Bournemouth.
Steve Bruce the Villa manager has now got this one over the line as he looks to add to his attacking options as he targets promotion this season back to the Premier League.
Grabban is a proven Championship goal scorer and is a clever signing for Villa after he scored nine goals for Sunderland earlier in the season.
There is no deal on place for an option to buy but that will depend on how well the striker performs on the pitch in the final months of the season.
