# Benteke Saga – reports of a £32.5m release clause

As people have been swooping down on Villa’s star striker, it seems to have trickled to The Telegraph that his release clause is around the region of £32.5m.

This could be the beginning of the start of a summer transfer saga for Benteke, with clubs testing the resolve of the contractual clause and also early suggestions of this information being leaked to The Telegraph, with an angle toward a move away from Villa.

Time will tell for the striker, but it wouldnt be the first time the Belgium likes the smell of a move away.
