# International round up : Aston Villa

The season is over and several Aston Villa players had to carry out their international duty before hitting the sun beds.

**Shay Given** came on as a sub for the Republic of Ireland on the hour mark and managed to keep a clean sheet.

**Fabian Delph** was an unused sub in the same match which finished 0-0.

Striker **Christian Benteke** played the majority of the match for Belgium against France. In an entertaining match, the Belgian endured a quiet evening and was subbed for Romelu Lukaku after 59 minutes when his side were leading 4-1. The match finished 4-3 to Belgium.

**Callum Robinson** was in action again for the England u20s as they finished fourth in the Toulon tournament. England lost 2-1 to USA and Robinson came off the bench towards the end of the match as England looked for an equaliser.

Midfielder **Carlos Sanchez** played the full match for Colombia against Costa Rica. Sanchez was given a yellow card after 30 minutes as his team won 1-0. Ex-Manchester United striker Falcao scored the winner.
