# Villa Target Swansea Outcast

Aston Villa have already made ten signings this summer, but it seems manager, Tim Sherwood is not content with that.

[El Decano, a Spanish newspaper](https://elcorreoweb.es/deportes-betis/el-aston-villa-un-duro-competidor-por-michu-JC675830) has reported that the Midlands outfit have made an offer for Swansea City outcast, Michu.

Michu has not played for Swansea since the 2013/14 season spending last season out on loan to Serie A side, Napoli where he only made three appearances with injuries blighting his time in Italy.

The 29-year old took the Premier League by storm in his debut season finding the net 18 times in 35 appearances for the Swans. It led to the former Rayo Vallecona making his debut for the Spanish national team and also links with Champions League side’s such as Manchester United. His second season in England did not go as well though making seventeen appearances with a return of only two goals.

Aston Villa, Real Betis, Celtic, Sevilla, Granada and Rayo Vallecano have all been linked with the Swan’s outcast this summer with any form of deal expected to be done in the latter days of the transfer window.
