# Villa Show Interest In Chelsea Winger

Aston Villa have thrown their hat into the ring for Chelsea winger, Victor Moses. [Jason Burt from the Daily Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/11815284/Chelsea-transfers-Club-to-listen-to-offers-for-Juan-Cuadrado-or-Victor-Moses-after-signing-Pedro.html) suggests that if Villa were to go back into the transfer market this summer it would be for players based in England to balance the squad.

The 23-year old has found his chances at Chelsea limited since joining in 2012 – only making 23 appearances. He has spent the past two years out on loan. The Nigerian spent last season at Stoke City where he found the net three times in nineteen appearances for the Potters. The season before he played the same amount of games while out at Liverpool.

Burt reports Spurs have also shown an interest in the winger who played for England at all youth levels before opting to further his international career with Nigeria in 2012.

**Ten New Faces**

It is clear Tim Sherwood wants to balance out the Villa squad with ten new signings already this summer with the majority coming from abroad. Moses’s experience in the Premier League at such a young age could be a vital component Sherwood needs.
