# Villa Want Roma Star

Aston Villa are in talks to sign A.S Roma attacking midfielder, Adem Ljajic with reports coming from [Gianluca Di Marzio](https://gianlucadimarzio.com/news-cat/roma-trattativa-in-corso-con-laston-villa-per-ljajic/) in Italy.

The 23-year old is reportedly in England to talk business with Villa ahead of a possible move to the Midlands side.A fee has not been reported, but the[TransferMrkt’s current market value development char](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adem-ljajic/profil/spieler/69374)t shows Ljajic to be valued at just over £9-million.

Ljajic played a key role in Rudi Garcia’s side last season scoring eight times in 32 appearances for the Serie A outfit.

He featured heavily for La Maggica last season in a role just behind the striker but has also been known to ply his trade on either wing. The Serbian is also a full international with 12 caps already under his belt.

Back in 2009 Premier League rivals, Manchester United announced the signing of Ljajic from Partizan Belgrade after a successful trial. He failed to ever properly link up with the Red Devils – after issues with his work permit.
