# Who Next For Villa?

Tim Sherwood has been sacked as Aston Villa manager meaning a new man is needed to steer the ship at Villa Park. The recent appointment of managers at Villa Park have been of a poor standard with the likes of Alex McLeish and Paul Lambert springing to mind, therefore Randy Lerner’s next appointment as manager must be spot on.

The reports in recent weeks from various news outlets have heavily linked former-Liverpool manager [Brendan Rodgers](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/oct/12/football-transfer-rumours-brendan-rodgers-aston-villa) and former-Everton boss, [David Moyes](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/470897/David-Moyes-Aston-Villa-Real-Sociedad) . Both links have been welcomed by the Villa faithful. Sam Tighe from Bleacher Report has this morning tweeted the below. It will be a pleasing tweet for the Villa fans with both managers linked liked by the mass majority of Villa fans.

> Tom Fox and Randy Lerner already have an ideal target in mind each. Rodgers interests the former, Moyes very much interests the latter [#AVFC](https://twitter.com/hashtag/AVFC?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)

Another name strangely thrown into the ring is Dwight Yorke. Only after Richard Keys [tweeted](https://twitter.com/richardajkeys/status/658250278387494916) that Yorke had told beIN Sports that he wants to take over at Villa Park.

### Who Suits Villa Best? – Matt Lynch GIves his view.

Someone needs to come in at Villa Park and take total control – it is pivotal that Aston Villa pick someone with experience. I would prefer Brendan Rodgers over David Moyes, but anyone with experience and tactical nouse would be welcomed right now.
