# League One Manager Odds Cut

The odds on the next Aston Villa manager have dropped dramatically and strangely for one man who is currently managing in League One at Gillingham, Justin Edinburgh. Yes, the man that was 66/1 is now found at 1[2/1 with BetVictor](https://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/aston-villa/next-permanent-manager) making him one of the shortest odds available.

### What On Earth? Matt Lynch View

The bookies do not know anything exactly speaking, but to see the odds cut so dramatically somebody obviously knows something for that to happen. To me, it seems that this man could be a good assistant manager at Villa Park – not manager. This has no real legs to it although you cannot rule anything out under the philosophies currently employed at Aston Villa.

The former-Fisher Athletic manager and Newport County manager brings great football league pedigree that could be great for Aston Villa with the Championship looming large.

*The move for Remi Garde looks close though. Find out more here.*
