# Villa Support Young Fan Fundraising For His Father

A young Villa fan has been left gobsmacked after the Aston Villa CEO, Tom Fox wrote back to him after he sent a letter telling him about his efforts to raise money for Multiple Myeloma.

Jason Lowe, Jr has decided to shave off all his hair in an effort to raise awareness and money for Multiple Myeloma. His father Jason Lowe Snr who was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in October 2014. Jason Lowe, Sr had Stem Cell Transplant back in September. As a result of the treatment, Jason Lowe Senior lost his hair.

During his Dad’s time in hospital, Jason Lowe, Jr decided to take it upon himself to ask his school whether he could have his head shaved in assembly to help his Dad and Myeloma.

On Jason’s 11th birthday, November 13th, he will have his head shaved in a special school assembly, and hopes to raise both money and awareness for an illness that is currently incurable. Tom Fox attached a personal cheque in support of Jason’s attempts along with a selection of Villa warm hats for Jason Lowe, Sr and Jr and two tickets for any Villa home game. Jason’s dad has said that his son ‘hasn’t stopped smiling’ since receiving the letter from the club.
