# Aston Villa Draw Wycombe In The FA Cup

Aston Villa will start their FA Cup campaign away against Wycombe Wanderers as the current runners-up look to potentially go one step further this season.

The last time Villa met Wycombe in the cup they came out 8-3 winners in a League Cup tie.

Last season saw the Midlands side reach the final for the first time in 15 years as Arsenal dismantled Tim Sherwood’s side at Wembley. Despite the result, last season was a magical run and not many Villa fans can deny how they’d love similar events this season along with Premier League survival.

### The Villans 2014/15 FA Cup run

*3rd Round – Aston Villa 1-0 Blackpool*

*4th Round – Aston Villa 2-1 AFC Bournemouth*

*5th Round – Aston Villa 2-1 Leicester City*

*Quarter Final – Aston Villa 2-0 West Bromwich Albion*

*Semi Final – Aston Villa 2-1 Liverpool*

*Final – Aston Villa 0-4 Arsenal*

In other notable clashes, Salford City or Hartlepool United could take on Derby County at home and there are three all Premier League clashes.

Remi Garde’s side will play Wycombe between the 8th and 11th of January.
