# Aston Villa linked with Dinamo Zagreb striker

Aston Villa have been linked with Dinamo Zagreb’s Armin Hodzic as they look to address the lack of goals in the current side. [Calcio Mercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/aston-villa-piace-un-attaccante-bosniaco-785824), an Italian sports news outlet report that Remi Garde is looking at the 21-year old to ease the weight on Villa’s current strikers.

The Bosnian forward is an ex-Liverpool academy player and has found his feet at Zagreb where he has scored ten times in 18 appearances for the Croation side including twice in Europe this season.

### A striker but no experience

The need for a striker at Villa Park is clear for all to see. The main worry for Villa fans though with this link is Hodzic’s lack of credibility and Premier League experience.

He is young and could be a raw talent much like the majority of Villa’s current squad. Furthermore, he would surely not come cheap, Zagreb are a top club in Croatia and the forward clearly has a lot of potential.
