# Agbonlahor has disagreement with Villa boss

Aston Villa striker, Gabriel Agbonlahor has had a disagreement with Remi Garde it has been revealed. The news comes only a few days after numerous news outlets showed the 29-year old out drinking with Arsenal players and reports that Garde would be willing to let Agbonlahor go in January.

In Garde’s[press conference](https://www.tamworthherald.co.uk/Aston-Villa-Remi-Garde-reveals-disagreement-Gabby/story-28384590-detail/story.html)ahead of The Villans away trip to Newcastle the Frenchman told the press that, “When a player is not selected in the team, like Gabby last week, obviously it creates a disagreement.”

Agbonlahor has fell out of favour at Villa Park with goals drying up for the Villa front man. In the past five seasons, he has picked up more bookings than he has goals – indicating a clear slump in form.

### Disappointing to hear – Matt Lynch

It is a great shame to hear that Gabby disagreed with Garde over the weekend. The last thing this side needs is disagreements between the manager and players.

This could turn sour for Agbonlahor which is a great shame given how long he has plied his trade at Villa Park. I hope he puts the effort in and he returns to start challenging in the first team again. His experience could be important at the end of the season.
