# Ilori loan deal to be terminated

Aston Villa manager, Remi Garde is set to terminate the loan of Liverpool defender, Tiago Ilori, who is yet make a single appearance in a Villa shirt.

John Percy from [The Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/aston-villa/12076557/Aston-Villa-to-scrap-Tiago-Iloris-loan-deal-and-send-him-back-to-Liverpool.html) reports how Garde could be set to end the loan which has set The Villans back £1 million.

The Portuguese U21 Euro 2015 winner has failed to find his feet at Villa Park as a deadline day signing.

Previously at Bordeaux last season Ilori has found game time tough.

### Disappointment – Matt Lynch

Tiago Ilori looked like a real coup at the start of the season by Tim Sherwood but he really hasn’t been given any chance in a Villa shirt.

It is a real disappointment as he clearly is a superb talent that just needs the right club and time, unfortunately in The Villans current situation neither is possible.

It has never been clear why the youngster hasn’t been given a chance. It’s just hugely disappointing.
