# Lescott attracting lucrative offers

Joleon Lescott has interest from every corner of the globe and wouldn’t be short of cash if he jumped ship this January.

[Simon Jones has reported on the MailOnline](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3406661/Manchester-United-hand-trial-16-year-old-Livingston-forward-Matthew-Knox.html)that Chinese club’s Beijing Guoan and Jiangsu Suning are interested in Lescott.

LA Galaxy are still said to be interested n the former England International but a move to China would be a lot more lucrative.

Lescott, who joined Aston Villa in the last transfer window has had a torrid time at his boyhood club this season, but with a change of manager comes a change of fortune for the man who couldn’t get a win while playing for Aston Villa under Tim Sherwood.

The 33-year-old has impressed in recent games, leading Aston Villa to their first victory in 5 months at home to Crystal Palace while wearing the captain’s armband and has beat Micah Richards to the starting XI in recent weeks.
