# Four Things We Learned: West Brom

Aston Villa got a dull point in a dull game at the Hawthorns against local rivals, West Bromwich Albion.

The Villans looked the better side throughout, but they lacked the cutting edge. Jordan Ayew looked a threat throughout and should have finished on many occasions.

Going into the second half West Brom still showed nothing with Villa having countless corners. It was a familiar story though with Remi Garde’s side failing to find the net.
