How well do you know the John Gregory era?

How well do you think you know Aston Villa’s history? Are you quietly confident or do you think you would struggle?

Over at The Villa View YouTube channel, they have done a quiz where you can test your Villa knowledge against the brains of the two hosts Matt Lynch and Dan Bardell.

On the quiz this week, they tested each other on the John Gregory era and the 2007/08 season under Martin O’Neill. It was a test of wit and peculiar knowledge with questions ranging from how many appearances Marlon Harewood made and the sponsor of the kits under Gregory.

Under John Gregory, Aston Villa reached the FA Cup final in 2000 where they famously lost to a Roberto Di Matteo goal and challenged for the title in the 1998/99 season.

The Martin O’Neill era brought a certain level of success but the 2007/08 was a stand out one as they finished 6th and famously beat Birmingham City 5-1.
