Aston Villa take on Sheffield Wednesday in their opening Championship game of the season on Sunday, but who exactly will get the nod in Roberto Di Matteo’s first official game as boss?
The Villans have already recruited well this summer including Pierluigi Gollini, Tommy Elphick, Aaron Tshibola, and most recently Ross McCormack. Will all of the new recruits play a part on Sunday and how will they all bed in?
These are all the questions the Villa faithful are asking ahead of the trip to Hillsborough.
Read Aston Villa have decided to tackle the line up we expect to see on Sunday.
Captain: Tommy Elphick, we can’t see anyone disputing this man being captain. He already looks like the leader based on pre season training.
Formation: 4-2-3-1
