# Aston Villa run rule over Palace pair

Aston Villa are eyeing up moves for one of Joe Ledley and Mile Jedinak in a move from Premier League side Crystal Palace.

The [Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/08/09/crystal-palace-hope-to-agree-christian-benteke-deal-after-reopen/) report that the Villans are keen on a move for either Ledley or Jedinak with both player’s current deals ending next summer.

Roberto Di Matteo is looking to add more meat and depth to his midfield after losing both Carlos Sanchez, Idrissa Gana Gueye and Jordan Veretout expected to be next out of the door.

Ledley impressed for Wales during Euro 2016, but only featured 19 times last season for Palace in the league, with a broken leg ruling him out towards the end of the season.

Jedinak meanwhile has also found game time limited also after he only made 27 appearances last season in an Eagles shirt. He also lost his captaincy on Monday.

The 32-year old has publicly came out and [said](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/aug/09/mile-jedinak-refutes-crystal-palace-exit-rumours-after-losing-captaincy) that he would fight for his future at Selhurst Park though.
