# Jores Okore set for exit door before window shuts?

Aston Villa could allow Jores Okore to leave the club before the transfer window shuts next Wednesday.

The [Birmingham Mail](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aston-villa-players-who-could-11793294) say that the Danish international could be subject to interest form across Europe with Spain, Germany, and Italy all paying an interest in the centre-half.

Okore has suffered majorly with injuries since moving to the Midlands side in 2013 from Nordsjælland.

The Dane has only made 38 appearances in a Villa shirt with ten of them coming last season in the club’s relegation doomed campaign.

He is yet to feature in a league game under boss Roberto Di Matteo this season with his own game time coming in a disastrous defeat to Luton Town in the League Cup where he scored a comical own goal.

The 24-year-old joined Villa with a burgeoning reputation and interest from Chelsea, but he has failed to live up to expectations and could be the next casualty under Roberto Di Matteo’s reign.
