Aston Villa welcome Newcastle Untied to Villa Park this Saturday in a clash between two sides who were relegated last season.
There is mixed news on the injury front for Villa with some players returning to full fitness whilst others are still major doubts for the game.
Starting with the positives, Roberto Di Matteo confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Aaron Tshibola is back fit and ready to play after missing the last five games with a groin strain. The former Reading man played the full 90 minutes in the Villa U23 side’s 5-2 defeat to West Brom on Monday and after coming through that game with no issues, he will be back in the matchday squad for Saturday’s game.

New signing Albert Adomah made his Villa debut as a late substitute against Ipswich last weekend and after shaking off a minor knock, he is also available for selection.
It’s not all good news though as three players; Rudy Gestede, Ross McCormack and Nathan Baker, all face late fitness tests ahead of the game.
One other man who could yet be missing from the squad is Jack Grealish after Di Matteo failed to reveal whether or not the youngster will be in his squad after the club launched an investigation into allegations that he was involved in a hotel party which got out of hand last.
