# Juventus eye up move for Pierluigi Gollini

According to [reports](https://www.calcionews24.com/gollini-via-dallaston-villa-la-juventus-ci-prova) in Italy, Serie A giants Juventus are interested in signing Aston Villa goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini as they put plans in place for somebody to take over when the legendary Gianluigi Buffon finally decides to hang up his gloves.

Stories have been emerging over the past week or so suggesting that Steve Bruce is looking to add a new goalkeeper to his squad with Hull City’s Eldin Jakupovic the latest name to be linked.

According to the report from Italy, Juve were scouting Gollini last year and were considering making a bud but Villa jumped in and got a deal done.

The Italian under 21 international has not been without faults since arriving at Villa Park, but that’s to be expected of a young goalkeeper moving to England.

Juventus clearly see something in him, so Villa fans will be hoping to see him develop and improve into the quality player that the Italian champions seemingly think he can become.
