Predicted Villa XI to Play Norwich

Predicted Villa XI to Play Norwich

Villa got their play-off push back on track with a 1-0 win against Wigan on Saturday evening. It was a game that, due to its lack of genuine quality, notwithstanding Grealish’s stunning finish in the 88th minute, will not last long in the memories of those who were in attendance. However, Villa fans will not care one jot as this was another vital three points towards Villa’s bid for promotion at the first time of asking.

Games come quick and fast at this time of the year and next up for Villa is an away trip to Norwich on Tuesday evening. The Canaries got off to a pretty decent start with 27 points from their first 14 matches; however, a terrible run of form has seen them lose 6 of their last seven matches – their only win being 5-0 hammering of Brentford. As a result, they have slipped outside the top 6 for the first time this season. In fact, a win for Villa on Tuesday would see the Villans go ahead of Norwich in the table. A win for Villa, coupled with a series of other favourable results, could see Villa move just a point off of a play-off position.

Here is the starting XI that we believe Bruce will choose for Tuesday’s game against Norwich. We reckon he will use a 4-5-1 formation again.
