# Aston Villa vs Burton Albion – Predicted XI

Aston Villa will be hoping to continue their push for promotion this season with a big win against Burton Albion on Boxing Day.

Steve Bruce’s men welcome Nigel Clough’s side to a Villa Park which will hopefully be creating an excellent atmosphere, with what looks to be a sell-out crowd for the first game after Christmas.

Villa head into the game with a lot of confidence given their recent form, with the narrow away victory against QPR last Sunday sure to give them a boost heading into this difficult fixture against Burton.

The same can’t be said about their counterparts, though, as Clough’s men sit dangerously low in the Championship table in 21st place, with their situation made worse off the back of their disappointing 2-1 home defeat against Newcastle United last weekend.

Rotation is expected from Bruce for the game but the three points are the target for Villa, so here’s how we expect them to line up.
