# Player Ratings: Leeds (H)

Villa kept their unbeaten home record intact with a hard fought 1-1 draw against Leeds at Villa Park.Their home record this season now reads as follows: Played 12, won 6, drawn 6, lost 0.

The first half was a pretty dour affair, with the best chance falling to Kodjia quarter of an hour in after a dodgy pass back had let him through on goal – he was denied by a fantastic covering slide tackle by Jansson. Apart from that, there were a few half chances for both sides, but Villa would have gone in at the break feeling that they had been the better side overall.

The second half, to the delight of the 37,000 inside Villa Park, was a much more entertaining affair, and Leeds took the lead in the 58th minute thanks to a header from Jansson that Mark Bunn will think he should have done better with. Villa’s unbeaten home record was under serious threat, but they were given a lifeline when Cooper handled the ball in the area in the 86th minute. Kodjia stepped up and converted the penalty with aplomb. There was to be no late drama and the game finished 1 apiece – probably a fair reflection on the game in the end.
