# Villa To Make Third Bid For Young Defender

Aston Villa have already seen two bids rejected for Bury’s highly-rated defender Jacob Bedeau, but this has not put them off as they are [reportedly](https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/01/27/aston-villa-see-two-bids-rejected-for-burys-jacob-bedeau/)going to try their luck with a third bid before the window closes.

17-year-old Bedeau, who broke into the Bury side last November after having signed in the summer from Leyton Orient, has been earning rave reviews and has firmly established himself as one of the top young talents in the Football League.

The teenager has made 7 appearances for the League One side and his performances have caught the attention several Premier League and Championship sides. As a result, no fewer than 27 scouts were present at one of Bury’s game in December to watch him play. Therefore, it is highly likely that he will leave Gigg Lane before the transfer window closes at 11pm on Tuesday.

Villa have put in two quick offers in an attempt to beat anyone else to the signing of this talented center-back, but they have seen both offers turned down.

Bury have already resigned themselves to the fact that they will lose Bedeau, but they are trying to hold out for the highest price they can. Villa will soon offer an improved bid, and they still remain hopeful of signing the defender.
