# Predicted Villa XI: Huddersfield (A)

Aston Villa made it 3 wins in 7 days thanks to a comfortable 2-0 victory over league strugglers Rotherham United. This victory means that it is the first time since 2010 that Villa have won 3 games on the bounce.

Villa dominated proceedings throughout most of the game, and with 18 shots on goal, the scoreline should have been more emphatic. However, as has been happening a lot as of late, Villa were very wasteful in front of goal. In fact, it took until the 68th minute for the deadlock to be broken, and this was courtesy of an own goal from Will Vaulks. Jonathan Kodjia, with his 13th goal of the season, made sure of all three points when he fired a shot in off the post in the 87th minute. To be honest, it wasn’t a game that will live long in the memory, but all that really matters is that Villa picked up another 3 vital points.

This result moves Villa up to 13th in the table with 45 points; 11 points above the relegation zone and 16 points below the final play-off position. Villa have an immediate opportunity to bag more vital points when they take on promotion-chasers Huddersfield on Tuesday evening – their 4th game in 10 days.

Here’s our predicted XI for Villa’s match away to Huddersfield on Tuesday evening.
