# Tshibola completes move to MK Dons

Aston Villa midfielder Aaron Tshibola has completed a season-long loan move to League One side MK Dons.

[The club have confirmed](https://www.mkdons.com/news/2017/july/dons-move-for-championship-midfielder/) the arrival of Tshibola from Aston Villa, who have been looking to move him on this summer.

The 22-year-old will now be able to gain a season of first-team football at MK Dons in League One as he prepares to break into the Villa team in future seasons.

The midfielder signed for Villa from Reading at the start of last season but only managed eight Championship appearances for Steve Bruce’s side throughout the campaign.

He was shipped out to Nottingham Forest – alongside Ross McCormack – for the second half of the season.

Tshibola made just four Championship appearances for Forest, with only two of those being starts.

He now looks to get back on track at MK Dons, playing a league below where he has been the past few seasons.
