# Leeds enquire about McCormack as they prepare for Woods exit

Leeds United have enquired about re-signing Ross McCormack this summer as the club prepares for the potential exit of West Brom and Burnley target Chris Wood.

Dean Jones of Bleacher Reports tweeted that there are ‘concerns’ at Elland Road that the New Zealand international may leave this summer.

Leeds have already rejected one offer from Burnley for Wood which was believed to be in the region of £12 million.

Thomas Christiansen is determined to keep hold of the striker, but reports have suggested that bids in the region of £20 million could be enough for them to let the striker go.

McCormack has endured a torrid time at Aston Villa and finished last season on loan at Nottingham Forest.

He’s widely expected to leave the club this summer with Sunderland thought to be leading the race to sign the Scotsman on loan.

McCormack left Leeds for Fulham back in 2014 for £11 million after handing in a transfer request at Elland Road.
