Aston Villa can kiss goodbye to automatic promotion thanks to yet another totally inept performance against what can only be described as a very average Bolton side.
For the second game in a row, the Villa players just did not turn up against lesser opposition, and if they continue to play like this until the end of the season, then they might just find themselves outside of the play-off places as well. Which would be completely unacceptable.
The majority of the Villa players looked like they would rather have been at home with a nice cup of tea and some biscuits instead of having to play in cold and snowy conditions in the less than impressive Macron Stadium.
With an international break next week, Bruce now has two weeks to work out where things are going wrong for his team before they take on lowly Hull at the KCOM Stadium.
