# Spurs planning formal offer for Grealish in the coming days

Tottenham are preparing to submit a formal offer for Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish in the coming days.

[Birmingham Live](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/jack-grealish-transfer-aston-villa-14813083) reports that the club have yet to receive any official offers for the player, despite contrasting [reports](https://readastonvilla.com/2018/06/13/tottenham-make-15m-bid-for-jack-grealish/) that suggest otherwise.

Spurs have set their stool out and will not offer any more than £20 million for the player, despite Villa hoping to bank closer to £25 million.

There is also thought to be interest from Liverpool and Fulham, but Spurs are leading the race to sign him.

Mauricio Pochettino is [said](https://readastonvilla.com/2018/06/15/spurs-outline-plan-for-grealishs-development-but-villa-standing-firm/) to be a fan of the player and sees him as someone he could utilise in his squad.

Villa have accepted that the player will be sold this summer in a bid to help balance the books.

The report claims that Grealish’s sale will go a long way in easing some of the worries behind the scenes at Villa Park.
