# Adomah linked with shock West Brom move

Aston Villa could lose winger Albert Adomah to local rivals West Brom this summer.

[TEAMtalk](https://www.teamtalk.com/news/exclusive-newcastle-near-cut-price-striker-raid-as-wba-eye-boro-hitman)reports that the winger is a transfer target for the recently-relegated side with Matt Phillips looking increasingly likely to leave the club.

The Scottish winger is being linked with a Premier League move to Newcastle following the Baggies’ relegation to the second tier.

Adomah himself has also been linked with moves away from Villa Park this summer.

The experienced winger would be able to bring in valuable funds to help Steve Bruce strengthen his squad this summer.

Adomah would provide a wealth of Championship experience to the Baggies squad and impressed under Bruce last season.

Villa’s off-the-field problems have been well documented and those behind the scenes claim that Adomah is one of the club’s more sellable assets.

Both Jack Grealish and Jonathan Kodji are also expected to leave the club this summer after Villa missed out on promotion to the Premier League.
