# Predicted Villa XI: Millwall (A)

Villa let a two goal lead slip against lowly Preston North End on Tuesday evening and this was the coup de grace for Steve Bruce.

It had been reported that Bruce had two games to save his job, but when the pressure is mounting, there’s no coming back from letting such a commanding lead slip out of your grasp in your first of two games.

Bruce, with his baffling decisions and, for want of a better word, dinosaur tactics had lost the majority of the fans, so in order to keep them content, Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens decided that it was in the club’s best interest to sack him.

Kevin MacDonald will take over until a suitable replacement has been found, which will hopefully be before Villa take on Swansea on the 20th October after the international break.

Villa take on Millwall at The Den on Saturday afternoon and here is our Villa predicted XI for that game.
