# Villa looking at loan swoop for Callum Hudson-Odoi

Aston Villa are reportedly looking at a deal to sign Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi on loan in January, according to reports.

Thisisfutball.com, via [Calcio Mercato](https://m.calciomercato.com/news/aston-villa-nel-mirino-un-baby-talento-del-chelsea-82359?os=msite) are reporting that the Villans are looking to bring in the youngster to boost their squad, as they look to get a new manager in.

Steve Bruce was sacked as Villa boss last week, and Thierry Henry is looking likely to get the job.

Hudson Odoi plays as a winger, and has only made 2 appearances in the league for Chelsea.

The winger has made many appearances for the England u-19 setup, and is highly rated.

The youngster would join Villa to gain experience in the Championship, as he has not been sent out on loan anywhere else before.
