Dean Smith tasted his first defeat as Villa manager on Tuesday evening as his side fell to a 2-1 defeat to Norwich at Carrow Road.

The home side drew level in the 54th minute when Nyland completely misjudged the flight of a cross, leaving Jordan Rhodes an empty net to head into. They then got the winner with just 18 minutes to go when Rhodes nipped in ahead of Chester to poke into the bottom corner.
Villa now have to travel to Loftus Road on Friday evening to take on an in-form QPR side, who have won three games in a row.
