Aston Villa have the option to recall central defender Tommy Elphick from his loan spell at Hull in January.
Villa have struggled with their defence at times this season, due to a lack of depth in the centre-back position.
Mile Jedinak has had to fill in alongside James Chester for a number of games, although Axel Tuanzebe has played there recently.
Due to their lack of options in the position, they could opt to recall Elphick from his loan.
Elphick has played nine games for Hull since his move to the KCom and has impressed at the back.
Hull boss Nigel Adkins has confirmed to The Hull Daily Mail that Villa have the choice to bring him back in the next transfer window.
Yes. We’ll have to wait and see.
I thought Tommy had his best game on Saturday against Bolton. I thought he’s growing into it and talk about players, we touched on in pre-season, about getting the game time you need to go and get.
