Aston Villa were clearly cheated out of two valuable points last Friday against West Brom, but hopefully they have left that in the past as they have another potential tricky game against Stoke City on Saturday at Villa Park.
So far, Stoke have not had the season that many thought they would, but there is no doubt that they have a squad that is capable of beating any team in this league.
They got off to an extremely poor start, but they have managed to slowly claw their way up the table, and now find themselves in 10th place, just two points below Villa, and six points outside a play-off place.
However, Dean Smith has got his side playing some fantastic attacking football, so Gary Rowett’s men will have to be at their absolute best if they are to leave Villa Park with a point or all three.
