# Villa predicted XI: QPR (H)

Aston Villa lost a tiny amount of ground on the top 6 on Saturday as they were held to a pretty disappointing 1-1 draw by Preston at Deepdale.

This draw, due to a number of other unfavorable results, means that Villa now find themselves five points adrift of Derby in 6th.

However, as we all know, games come thick and fast at this time of the year, so Dean Smith’s men will have a chance to close the gap again on Tuesday, when they take on QPR at Villa Park at 3pm.

The Hoops are having a very good campaign so far – they find themselves in 8th place, one point above Villa in 9th, so this won’t be a walk in the park for the home side.

Here is our predicted Villa XI for Tuesday’s game against QPR. We expect to see a number of changes as some players are in serious need of a rest.
