# Crystal Palace plotting move for Tammy Abraham

Crystal Palace are eyeing up a January move for Tammy Abraham, according to the [https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tammy-abraham-transfer-crystal-palace-13830831](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tammy-abraham-transfer-crystal-palace-13830831)*[Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tammy-abraham-transfer-crystal-palace-13830831)*.

Aston Villa are desperately trying to make the striker see out his loan spell at the club, but it is becoming increasingly tricky.

Chelsea are not believed to be considering selling Abraham permanently yet, though, which is a potential boost to Villa’s promotion hopes.

The 21-year-old has already turned down a switch to Wolves, but now it’s Palace’s turn to express an interest.

The Eagles are only six points clear of the relegation zone and badly need to a add a reliable goalscorer to their squad.

Palace were linked with a move for former Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke, but he eventually joined Bournemouth instead.

Despite the interest, Villa are thought to be holding out hope that Abraham will stay until the end of the season.

They have been looking at alternatives should he move on, however, including Brentford striker Neal Maupay.
