# Jack Grealish set to snub Spurs’ summer interest

Aston Villa captain and boyhood Villa fan Jack Grealish looks set to stay at Villa Park for the time being, according to [Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11677/11731606/jack-grealish-to-stay-with-aston-villa-and-reject-tottenham-advances).

The Birmingham born midfielder has been the key man to Villa’s promotion campaign since his return from injury has been the brightest spark in a very talented Villa side.

Grealish has been linked to many top sides over the last few seasons, in particular, Spurs, who were close to sealing a £25 million deal for the player last summer.

Tottenham were considering reigniting their interest in the player, however, Grealish is not interested in leaving following the club’s promotion.

Grealish signed a five-year deal at Villa Park after the new ownership of the club.

Villa are already looking to bolster their squad by securing the services of loan star Tyrone Mings on a permanent basis from Bournemouth, as well as a move for Nottingham Forest winger Joe Lolley.
